Meeting Format
Poster Sessions: Two separate poster sessions will be held, one on Friday late afternoon and one on Saturday late afternoon. Each of these contributed presentations has a two-minute oral summary followed by a light reception with poster display and discussion. Three prizes for best poster presentations are awarded at the Sunday lunch.
Invited Lecture Sessions: Thirty minute time slots for each invited lecturer Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning. The special lecture honoring David Chandler will be presented by Howard Stone, Princeton.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are provided on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be a light reception Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to accompany the poster displays and discussion. For evening meals following the talks and light reception on Friday and Saturday, participants are free to sample the many restaurants in and around Berkeley and San Francisco.
Registration
Registration will open in Fall 2024.
Fees:
- Grad Students: $225
- Postdocs/Professors: Through 12/14/2023 - $285
- Postdocs/Professors: Starting 12/15/2023 - $325
- Undergrads: $75
Posters: We do not need an abstract. For poster size - the foam core boards on the easels to which the posters are pinned are 36" X 48." (They can be set on the easel either way.) Poster titles must be provided no later than Sunday, January 7, 2024.
