We are pleased to announce the opening of the CECAM-US-WEST node of the CECAM (Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire). This inaugural meeting will include a full day of programming on Friday, January 9, 2026, in addition to the usual Berkeley Statistical Mechanics meeting schedule. Meeting Format
Invited Lecture Sessions: Thirty minute time slots for each invited lecturer.
Poster Sessions: Two separate poster sessions will be held, one on Friday late afternoon and one on Saturday late afternoon. Each of these contributed presentations has a two-minute oral summary followed by a light reception with poster display and discussion. Three prizes for best poster presentations are awarded at the Sunday lunch.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are provided on all days. There will be a light reception Friday at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to accompany the poster displays and discussion. For evening meals following the talks and light reception on Friday and Saturday, participants are free to sample the many restaurants in and around Berkeley and San Francisco.

Registration will open in Fall 2025.
Fees:
- Grad Students: $225
- Postdocs/Professors: Through 12/14/2025 - $285
- Postdocs/Professors: Starting 12/15/2025 - $325
- Undergrads: $75
Posters: We do not need an abstract. For poster size, the foam core boards on the easels to which the posters are pinned are 36in X 48in. (They can be set on the easel either way.) Poster titles must be provided no later than Sunday, January 4, 2026.
