The next Berkeley Statistical Mechanics Meeting will be in person from January 7-9, 2022.

NOTE: There will be two poster talks/sessions on Saturday during the day, with 25 available spots for each session. Poster participation will be capped at 50 total.
Due to health considerations, the schedule for the 2022 meeting has changed for this year.
Poster Sessions: Two separate poster sessions will be held on Saturday outside. Each of these contributed presentations has a two-minute oral summary and poster display. Two minute presentations are followed by a poster session with individual poster discussions. Three prizes for best poster presentations are awarded at the Sunday lunch.
Invited Lecture Sessions: Thirty minute time slots for each invited lecturer are Friday late afternoon, Saturday morning and late afternoon, and Sunday morning. The special lecture honoring David Chandler will be presented by Arup Chakraborty, MIT, on Friday.
Meals: Breakfast and lunch are provided on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be a light welcome reception Friday at 6:00 p.m. For evening meals following the talks and light reception on Friday and after the talks on Saturday, participants are free to sample the many restaurants in and around Berkeley and San Francisco. Note that not all are at full operation yet, and many will require proof of COVID vaccination.

Welcome is at 3:45, followed by 4 invited speakers, including the special lecture honoring David Chandler to be presented by Prof. Arup Chakraborty, MIT.
